[size=-1]旋律硬摇滚乐队Shinedown来自Florida的Jacksonville，乐队成员由主唱 Brent Smith，吉他 Jasin Todd，贝司 Brad Stewart和鼓手Barry Kerch组成。被Atlantic唱片抢签后说成是Creed和Nickelback的接班人。乐队在2003年的第一张专辑Leave a Whisper为乐队带来了不错的成绩，之后乐队在2004年的大部分时间里都在各地巡演然后发行了一张现场专辑。2005年发行了成绩不俗的新专辑Us and Them。
跟别的重摇滚乐队相比，他们的音乐靠的不是由高精度设备制造出来的重低音，而是靠熟练的节奏吉它手的Riff和主唱的高跨度音域嗓音天衣无缝的协调所产生的震撼音乐，这让两年后的今年夏天他们的第二张专辑us and them再度出现在排行榜上!第3首save me已经在主流摇滚排行榜上龙头的位置停留了很长时间了，让Foo Fighters的新歌也无法超越，shinedown能够出人头地全凭那股旋律摇滚的激情![/size] 哈哈哈
