[b][size=3][color=Olive]最早在1999年就创作出来，并打算在韩国慈善演唱会上与帕瓦罗蒂合唱，后来因故取消。
2001年9月11日，美国遭遇恐怖袭击以后，MJ再度把这只搁置的歌曲从地窖里翻出来，并号召了包括席琳迪翁在内的数名音乐界巨星合作。
录制好了这只慈善歌曲，打算用来赈济911事件的受害者和家属可惜，这个慈善计划被SONY拒绝了（该死的，又是SONY），因此没能成行。但却在2001年底的一个华盛顿慈善演唱会上做过演出。

最后，它被泄露到了网上。2003年, MJ和美国CLEAR CHANNEL电台联合在电台和网络上进行了短暂的正式发行, 它的音乐录影也在一个颁奖典礼上首播
